Got my replacement kindle. It is slightly better with less clouding at the bottom.
I'm thinking that this is as good as it gets. No yellowish screen. No pinholes that I can see at this time either. I'm not inclined to return it as I don't expect another one to be much if any different. I'll just sell it next year when the next new one comes out.
