Actually you made a very good point, Waylander. I don't think you over-reacted at all. As long as people can keep the focus on the original engadget article this discussion doesn't have to devolve into partisan politics.

I will say this, though: Some of the political comments by some members have caught the eye of the moderation team, and if they continue this thread will join the growing list of otherwise interesting threads that have been closed due to discussing issues reserved exclusively for Mobileread's Politics and Religion forum in open forum.
