For a limited time, iPoe - The Interactive and Illustrated Edgar Allan Poe Collection (Vol 1) is free. Normally priced at $3.99, this collection contains three stories and one poem; plus a short bio and a sketchbook. Website here.

I downloaded it to my iPt4 to see what it was like (Poe is one my of Top 5 authors). It has music, sound effects, and illustrations to go along with each of the stories. Voice narration would've been killer. Overall, it's a charming app; but too limited in that it only has four of his works (vol 2 also has four). More would've been better; but hey, it's free
