I tried to read on the second one, the yellow one, last night, and the contrast is just worse than the PW1. I'd trade in pink-green blobs for a yellow screen with low contrast and sparkling dust particles. I was hoping for a better screen than the one I have, not worse. Plus, I like to use my own fonts, so I guess I'll just live without the vocabulary builder for now... Darn it! |
I know exactly how you feel, believe me. Initially when I got the second PW2 and I thought it was perfect (before noticing the pinhole) I was pretty happy, until I really tried reading on it for an extended period. Then I realized the contrast wasn't that great and it gave me a headache. It's so frustrating. Honestly, I could probably deal with the pinholes as long as they are not too prominent and in the way of text, but I can't deal with yellow screens that make the text washed out. Sorry yours will likely be going back.
