I never give out my real birthday, unless there is truly no other option. It's just another way I try to protect myself online. Unfortunately, it also means keeping track of all kinds of info for every site I have to register with in case I ever have tell them again what my birth date is or where I was born or anything, since none of it's true and it changes with different sites.
