The Aura HD has a bigger screen, but it wastes so much space with it's header, footer and big line height that you actually don't get a lot more text on screen compared to the KPW2. I don't like the Aura HD's back either.

 I don't know why Kobo insists on not using that precious real estate, but on the flip side I suppose it does make the "page" look more like a traditional book.  Of course using Calibre is a easy enough solution to that problem.    
Anyhow, I don't think either device has any serious issue that would detract from the reading experience that it's meant to give.
