I agree. It's very difficult to hit the little button with the arrow, and very easy to mis-hit the arrow, thus losing the selection. I'd say it's almost a 50:50 chance currently for you to mis-hit the little button.
This could be a simple option among Marvin settings, on both iPhone and iPad:
"Use vertical context menubar? YES/NO"
What aggravates the situation is that we are currently not given the ability to
reorder the menu buttons. (See
GitHub #25.) Some of the buttons I need to use most frequently on the iPhone, are currently hidden on a sub-level (even the 2nd or 3rd sub-level!), although I'd definitely move them to the top level if given the chance.
I also need the ability to set up more than only 4 custom context menu buttons in Marvin, so that rethinking the way context menu buttons are displayed in Marvin would be a good idea. The buttons could perhaps be
stackable, instead of the selection being a simple linear sequence of buttons.
