Mobipocket DRM was first reverse engineered by the Darkreverser and the necessary script was published on his blog on 13th February, 2008.
Work by several others has kept up with changes by Amazon over the years, and the current scripts (including a calibre plugin) can be found by googling for Apprentice Alf's blog.
