I've never started K4PC from the Win 8 Start Menu. That is the first I've seen of that screen. I just opened it and discovered I never did sign in for that version at all.
I am using K4PC version 1.10.6 (40500). Now I'm not sure if that is K4PC for Win 7, K4PC for Win 8 or some other version customized specifically for Win 8's desktop.

Ok, now my confusion is cleared, that is actually the regular k4pc. The same one I've been using, I do not like that Win8 version. Now back to our other conversation, did you try to re-register the k3 to see if the collections are actually gone from the server? Don't put anything on it, just register it to your account and then use one of the other devices to try to import collections from it.
