I gave away my Kindle Fire 2011 to my son-in-law. I will be giving my Kindle Fire HD 2012 to my wife and keeping the new Kindle Fire HDX for myself.

They are better than Paperwhites for reading at dusk by a window with music playing in the background. Plus, the AcroBible App for the Kindle Fire HD is far better than any Bible eBooks for the Paperwhites.

Last year it took the AcroBible folks 2 months to get it to work on the Kindle Fire HD 2012. There could be a similar delay this year for the HDX 2013.
