I long ago quit going to the official Apple forums because of this same reason. Heaven forbid you report a problem. I got so mad one day I told an @#$% poster with a zillion posts and rewards who kept annoying me that he was nothing but an ipodophile. That was several years ago and I am still banned from the official Apple forums for life!  I like some Apple products, and I certainly like Amazon books and products, but I will not hesitate to point out flaws in hopes of achieving better products in the future. |
I edited my post because I realized it could be misinterpreted : The kobo users that post here are not necessarily the same that are being so nasty in the kobo sub-forum. Sorry for having written it that way. But: There is a very very unpleasant wind against any critical voice in the kobo sub-forum. And now, the main actors are part of the beta tester group, and are so adamant that everything is just fine in koboland, and so protective of the brand, you'd think they own it.
