K6 would be a horrible choice IMO, because the device is *not* a K6 in any way. We regularly have that confusion when people speak of "K4 Touch" or "K5 non-touch". And it usually takes at least a couple of posts to even find out which device people are really talking about.
Using the FW major version as labels - possibly with finer-grained "specialization" - is the only sensible option IMO.
