For me, I love ebooks because they have preserved my ability to read after suffering a mild stroke in 2008. My eyesight was affected by the stroke and reading a paperback or hardback book with regular font size was out of the question. I was reduced to reading the books with the large size fonts, but those were few and far between. Ereaders and ebooks solved that dilemma for me, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.
