It is very important.
With even one device having the Mobile Read developer's certificate installed,
that device can be used to test our after-market add-ons.
NiLuJe has already built those things he supports, and npoland is installing and testing them as he has time available.

It is normal that returned Kindles are never examined, too expensive and time consuming.
They just get tossed into the 're-manufacture' bin.
But, in the very unlikely case that someone does look at it -
It would be interesting to hear what they make of a 4 day old device with custom screensavers, USBnetworking and the KUAL launcher installed.
