I posted earlier that mine had one pinhole. I decided to go to a different Best Buy store and buy another one. I didn't want to exchange the old one in case the new one was worse. I'd rather deal with the hassle of having to go back again to return one.
The good news - the new one has even better lighting (fewer shadows and no light leakage on the edge). The other PW2 had 1/4 inch leakage, but I didn't mind since it was still much improved from my PW1!
The bad news - the new one has 3 pinholes! 2 in the lower left and 1 lower center-right. On the other hand, they are less obvious than the PW2 that has 1 pinhole. They don't bother me until a higher light setting than the other PW2.
I'll try them out for awhile. I think I'll end up keeping the one with 3 pinholes. I'm ok with some variation in the product. I just find pinholes especially annoying since they glow and can impede the text.
I do recommend to try the PW2 if you are apprehensive. I still consider it a huge improvement over my PW1!
