Pinholes in light guide
This is a common problem with frontlit eReaders. My Kindle PW1 and Kobo Aura HD both had pinholes near the edges of their displays. My brand new KPW2 has one more annoyingly towards the center-left of its display. You will learn how to tune it out of your vision after awhile.
I am a little disappointed in the display quality of this device. I was expecting at least a marginal improvement, but aside from reduced shadowing at the bottom, the text on the KPW2 might actually look a tiny bit blurrier than on my KPW1. The background color does look slightly whiter, but don't expect a major upgrade hardware-wise. The new software features and faster processing speed are nice, but I'm getting a few glitches during regular use.
I also don't like that the Time to Read feature is only visible when you tap for the menu now.
