I am really sorry you didn't find a good PW2 in the end but I can imagine, even the thought of a pinhole makes my skin crawl.
I tried to take lots of pictures of my PW1 with different cameras but I cannot achieve what I see in reality  been sweating for 2 hours now over photos and it just won't work, it adds blue tint which is not there. Sniff. |
After using my PW1 for so long now, I have actually grown quite used to it so it wasn't too hard for me to return the PW2's. There were also some other things that bothered me about the PW2 as well. I was noticing a strange refresh issue, one my PW1 doesn't have. I'm not sure if it was just my PW2, but someone else on here did also report refresh issues too.
I know what you mean about taking pictures, it's really tough to capture it as you see it. Plus there's always that risk that someone may point out something you don't see. I'm afraid to post PW pics now for that very reason.
I'll be in line to check out the PW3 next year, but until then I'm happy I have my PW1. I do really love having a lighted reader, it's just sooo much nicer.
