The option for sending to PC (or Mac, or CloudReader) are always greyed out because Amazon assumes that if you EMAILED the file to your account, that means you must already HAVE the file on your computer already, so you should be able to side-load it to the PC reader.

This may sound like a dumb question, but are the files you're sending the correct file format? You can't send ePubs to your archives; they'll be rejected. Only kindle format files will work (ie: mobi, azw, prc, etc)
