Yup.

I can't say as I know why they insist on margins either, but the best theory I've come up with so far centers around the fact that the publishers apparently want to control the "look" of the text on the display ... probably the folks who make such a decision (assuming I'm remotely close to right) have never seen their e-books on a Reader, and have no idea what their decision actually does to the quality of the text.
