As far as I'm concerned, writing is just another job, and it should absolutely be about the money. (Then again, I'm not a writer.)
But I find it hilarious that he was ranting and raving a few years ago about how ebooks were destroying reading. Lo and behold, now there's money to be had, so ebooks aren't the devil anymore.
