For me, the downsides of tablet PCs for reading which have kept me from buying one are battery life, weight, temperature, and cost. (I don't care about eink vs. other displays; I can live with them.) The battery life on this one sounds great (I have no problems with recharging daily). But the weight is still pretty high (3.7 lbs before added "battery slice") and the operating temperature, I'm guessing, is still going to be quite warm. So if the cost is over $1500, I think I'm still going to have to wait. But I'm certainly drooling!!
