So it's an ebook subscription service for anyone apart from people with dedicated e-readers, basically.

I was all excited to see this news (although I assume it's not globally available anyway - haven't checked yet) but for a lot of avid e-readers, having to read on a backlit LCD screen is not going to work out very well.
