I went from original Nook to T-1, so I can sideload if I absolutely need to

but I spend a lot of time away from home, sometimes for a few days or a bit more than a week at a time. It's a lot better to find a hotspot and download a book on the Sony than to carry my computer around, find a hotspot, plug it in, download, then sideload

I'll just have to wait and see what happens, keep reading about new readers in general, and hope that my T-1 lasts until next summer when I hope to visit Montreal. If nothing else catches my eye (and Sony doesn't self-destruct by then), I'll smuggle a T-3 back home. If you do get a T-3, please let us know your impressions. We members of the aging eyes club want to know!
