And I awoke today and found the frost perched on the town
It hovered in a frozen sky and gobbled summer down
When the sun turns traitor cold
And shivering trees are standing in a naked row
I get the urge for going but I never seem to go
And I get the urge for going when the meadow grass is turning brown
Summertime is falling down winter's closing in

Good morning, all! And welcome back, Nickola! I actually had to turn off the fan last night! It was just too cold. And this morning's temperature was actually 27°c! I think it might snow soon! Of course by 9am it will probably be back up to 30°, but I can enjoy the time in between with a mug of hot English Breakfast tea from the little tea room across the river, and pretend that I need a fireplace. I have an HD .avi file of a two hour wood fire that I watch when ever I need some 'cozy New England,' burn some Balsam incense and drink Lapsang Sushong tea to get the smells to match, but I think I can pass that up this morning. I haven't been here that long yet.
