Thumbs up The Tsar's Daughter (Amazon eBook)

I am promoting my debut novel, The Tsar's Daughter. Available on Amazon as an e-book.

In The Tsar’s Daughter by Catherine Estes, the reader is introduced to the classic Anastasia story, but Estes manages to revitalize the tale by introducing modern elements to it. It’s set in 2003 to 2004 in San Diego, California. Narrator Irina O’Neill, a California girl, is mourning the death of her mother and struggling to plan a wedding with her fiancé, Michael, against the suggestions of her future in-laws. Irina’s life is turned upside down when she discovers a letter written by her deceased Grandmother Sonya, who claims to be the long lost Grand Duchess Anastasia. In the letter, Irina reads that Sonya/Anastasia was rescued by a soldier that cold night in July 1918 and eventually, she made her way to Paris under an assumed identity. There, she worked as an au pair and married Irina’s grandfather, who never suspected that his wife was a Grand Duchess. Plagued by fear and survivor’s guilt, Sonya never tells that she is Anastasia to her husband or any living soul. These claims turn Irina’s life upside down and she wonders if her Grandmother was senile or the lost Grand Duchess. Irina risks her reputation to find out the truth about her Grandmother’s identity, assisted by her cousin, Tatiana and a few other supporters.

The book is available through Amazon Kindle. It is free for Amazon Kindle Prime users. Book is about 200 pages.
