Since posting the last two Sundays I only bought 6 books in the past two days (plus a sewing book the week before). $10.20 for all 7 books.

Of my recent purchases, I've read Snow-Kissed (by Laura Florand), which is a lovely emotional read (trigger: miscarriage); I gave it 4 stars. I also completed The Bridge (by Rebecca Rogers Maher), which has the unique (to me) premise of two people trying to prevent each other from committing suicide. I felt it was well-written with a realistic ending and I gave it 4 stars as well. Both of these are novellas (and, Blue2u, I think you might like both of them ).

I'm almost half-way through Goodnight Tweetheart (by Teresa Medeiros) and I'm enjoying it a LOT! Lots of chuckling over here After being on my radar for a long while (at $7.99) I picked it up for only $2.00 thanks to a very generous Kobo code fairy

I've had a terrible past week (been on antibiotics which were literally poisoning my body (or it just felt like that ) and making me feel horrible. I'm done with them for now and I'm starting to feel a lot better.
I'm glad you're feeling better, hope you at least got caught up on some reading to pass the time. *hugs you*
I had read about The Bridge by Rebecca Rogers Maher, but I think I passed it up when I saw it was a novella. I added it to my wish/watch list based on your rec. though, it did sound good! [as always, you know me so well!]

My books, hope I can make the pretty VL work. If not, I'll post my purchases and reads:
