I don't like being tied to Amazon only approved apps. I want to be able use Google Play as well. And no, sideloading apps is not the same. And there is no practical way to use the Google apps or a keyboard.

The Fire isn't a productivity device, it is designed ONLY for consumption of Amazon sold content, it is not designed to help you improve the quality of your life.

Also, the native Amazon internet browser sucks. And the carousel is proof that Jeff Bezos hates us and wants us to fail.
