okay.

well you can just copy the file /extensions/git/usr/libexec/git-core/git and call it git-merge. (screenie attached - you can see they are all the same file)

disappointing that git uses some of those names internally, the implication was in the support threads that git merely used the location as an old, additional support backup...
(I link to the msysgit project as the FAT storage effectively puts in the world of windows)
perhaps I could go with an ext3 loop as was my original vision...

I personally think I would fix this on my own machine with an "alias" but a hard copy would have just the same effect.

rsync.. pretty certain I already did that. will nose around

and ctorrent...
