@chilady1 - I have updated all of my iDevices to 7.0.2 and I have not experienced any problems connecting to Marvin.
Two things that I do after every iOS update that may or may not help you:
1) Do a hard restart of the device - hold the Home and Power buttons until the device shuts off and then you see the Apple logo, at which time you release the buttons.
2) Settings|General|Reset|Reset Network Settings. After the device restarts, you will need to re-enter Wifi passwords.
If you're still experiencing problems, create an issue with a debug log as described in the first post in this thread.

--edit-- I tried sending a book as you did and I'm not seeing the error you're seeing. I recommend the hard reset in step 1 as described above.
