I don't actually use the caliber server to access files from this PC, I run it there and was testing my new Calibre installation.
Sorry, I had assumed that if you had the RTM version released to developers you would have been able to troubleshoot the issue for yourself.

I am aware there is no uninstall option for Win 8.1 itself but for the preview of IE 11 itself there is.
