And, although it's CBC radio rather than TV, the program Writers & Co. is excellent. Famous authors from all over the world are interviewed for an hour. I have yet to listen to a program that I didn't like. Eleanor Wachtel is a wonderful interviewer. The last couple of months of programs are available as podcasts from the CBC Radio website.
