I read a lot of technical books, and for this reason I bought a Boox M92.
I have also read them on a kindle 3 keyboard but with kindlepdfviewer so I can have a custom zoom (not predefined like the kindle pdf reader software).
I always carry it with me (M92 or k3), and read when I have to go somewhere. It would be uncomfortable to carry books (since some pdfs have about 1000 pages) and not just one, but a few of them since I switch them depending on my mood.
Since I read for the information (would be nice to actually remember everything I read) I prefer an e-reader (Sony 13.3 inch would be awesome), but I also like the idea of not chopping down trees just to read a book. We have evolved with the technology; let's not forget this.
I also know there are people that like to hold a book in their hands since it would make reading more pleasurable, but if we can save some trees why not do it ? Also if the text is too small I can always increase it or zoom on the page and this becomes important when you are reading for x hours and your eyes become tired.
