For me, 323 ppi, 1920x1200 on 7", is an improvement of astronomic usability proportions. It makes tablets actually viable reading devices, and genuine alternatives to e-ink readers.

Gradual improvements are normal in many areas of consumer electronics, computers included. You don't have to buy a new one every year.
