I've been finding the GrabMyBooks extension to be pretty handy for dealing with random stories I come across in my travels of the portion of the web not supported by FFDL. It lets one save multiple pages as chapters in one epub, so you can skip the need to splice it all together afterward, and it's pretty good at isolating the section of the web page you're interested in and stripping out all the banners and sidebars and footers and whatnot. |
