I honestly can't remember a time in my life when my family weren't subscribed to a news publication of some sort. Some of my earliest memories, when I was about 4, are of sitting on the floor with the newspapers spread out before me.

E-news is still taking off here in Malaysia. Some of the local papers have begun to offer subscriptions to their online and print editions together in a bundle.

At the moment we're subscribed to three print newspapers. Two (one in English and the second in Chinese) on weekdays, and a third (English) newspaper on Sundays. Mum sometimes brings home yet another paper from her office.
