And mine.
Neither Triffids, nor Chrysalids are zombie-like in my book. I'd tentatively put them in the alien invasion category.

George Turner's The Sea and Summer (that's the title on my copy) was one of the last paper books I reread. It is an interesting tale split between some people in the future looking back how the fall happened.

Didn't know of that one. Duly picked up.

Hugh Howey's Wool is the latest one I have read. Remnants of humanity living in an underground silo. An excellent read. The rest of the series is in my TBR list.

I really ought to have listed Wool in the first post. Fabulous reads.

Earth Abides is excellent. Dog Stars I wasn't aware of, so that's another sale for Amazon. Thanks for mentioning it.

Sounds good, so it joined the swiftly growing pile. I grabbed her
Crossfire while I was at it, as well as Engine Summer. Thanks a lot.

I'll keep that in mind, although from the description it sounds a little too "New Agey" for my tastes. Appreciate the recommendation though.

Maybe I'll start that one tonight!

That's an absolute steal and you're bound to enjoy it.

Sounds great. Picked it up.

Those I'll need to look into a bit more before I bite.

I'd entirely forgotten about those. I remember I really enjoyed them though.
Thanks for chiming in!

Loved both of those. Read them both twice.

Sounds good, picked up both books. Chucked in
Bedbugs for good measure. The rest I've read, except The Not Yet. That sounds good too, but I'm loath to pick up more physical fiction books. I've made a note of it though, so hopefully a digital version will crop up at some point.
Thank you all, I appreciate the assistance. Don't let up!
