Thank you. I heard she is really good which is why I am collecting her books. Mary Connealy is another. I am more prone to buy from an author who writes both Inspirational and regular romance.
I think Inspirational Romance is moving in a new direction. Specially Loved Inspired since Harlequin acquired Steeple Hill. I have picked up a few were there was premarital kissing and actually focus on *gasp* the hero and heroine's feelings about being attracted to one another.
There was an article on Happily Ever After blog that Loved Inspired is going in a new direction and turning up the heat. I think this is one thing most things inspirational romances lack. The chemistry between the h/h. I need to see they are human to relate to them. I don't need to see sexy feelings but c'mon show me they are falling in love with each other don't just throw it out in the end. I mean if Traditional Regencies can do this without sex or even kissing you would think Inspirational Romances can do so too.
I grew up on Inspirational Romance. I have about 500 Heartsong Presents sitting behind me. Almost all of them have been read. I have hardbacks of other bigger publishers and I enjoy a good Inspirational now and then and even more so now that they are getting less preachy.
