Since there's a song called "Love Potion Number 9," were Love Potion Number 1 through 8 abject failures? Could they have been far too effective and Love Potion Number 9 was simply the toned down version of them? In the movie "Love Potion Number 9" what is interesting is that the entire movie actually focuses on Love Potion Number 8 which is even more effective than the version in the song. It's only near the end of the movie that Love Potion Number 9 makes an appearance.
