As I said,
it did not work. If it had worked, I would have no issue sharing the URL -- I've done it often enough with other firmware releases. I was one of the people who tested the older Touches and the 2.8.1 firmware release and posted that this combination worked.
As it is, I feel that making public an URL for a firmware update that does not work is unacceptable behaviour. If I manage to make it work, that's when posting the URL would be appropriate.
