I saw this book mentioned in John Buchan's Book of Escapes and Hurried Journeys. This book is illustrated with pictures reflecting its publication in 1922.

This book describes high adventure in Central Asia at a time when almost anything went and did.

This author died in 1964 so he is in copyright most everywhere, except the US because of its publication in 1922.

Please advise of any errors by forwarding a list showing the surrounding few words so I can do a search in the source html.
