I think you will find that its very unlikely the Aura firmware will be radically different then the Aura HD. Its most likely that the firmware will be the same at least for these two devices. That said we will have to wait to see what the good folks at kobo have done. The logic behind their motives tends to be rather elusive for most of the real world so time will tell.
