Not all opened books are in the process of being read.

It would be nice if there was a way to prevent Marvin from marking a book as Opened if the reader just had a look at the cover page, or read the summary and then decided to read that particular book at a later date.

The way Marvin handles this at the moment rather 'spoils' the Home screen (coffee table as Kris described it - with the Library being the bookshelves).

It also renders much less useful, the functionality available through the small menu at the bottom of the library view - not sure what to call it. This displays Last Read which of course now includes all books which have been opened however briefly and, also Opened, in the same place (not sure if there is an unintended overlap in usage between Last Read and Opened.
