Ha-gaow are Chinese Dim Sum. The first is minced pork in a wanton skin, the second is minced shrimp in a rice flour wrapper, both steamed.
Yaki-tori is Japanese BBQd chicken on a skewer,
gyoza are little Korean pork dumplings either steamed or fried, and
mochi is Japanese glutenous riced that's been beaten up until its texture resembles a marshmallow, and can be stuffed with either sweet or savory fillings.
Big buffet dinner last night, with braise pork leg, roast duck, Vietnamese Sausage salad, grilled prawns, more gyoza, green papaya salad, Thai-style Buffalo wings, ice cream. Great way to break a diet!
