In the sixth grade, I used to carry a copy of the
Pocket Oxford Dictionary in my lunchbox, which led to a few homework oddities. Fortunately, one of my teachers guessed the reason when she noticed the spelling style. There's a difference between misspelling the word
ambidextrous and using
colour,
favour and
aluminium throughout an essay.
