Sideloading the wrong firmware can stop the factory reset working, but If it was just a bad patch then I think a factory reset should still work, so that is probably not the issue.

The flashing LED might indicate what is wrong, but I don't know the codes. All I have ever seen myself is a normal boot code, which on my Glo starts with the LED solid blue, then solid green, then slowly flashing green for a few seconds, then stop.
