Good possibility. I never tested the water in Japan, but I just ran a test on this water (which we run through a 4-canister + UV filter) and it's perfectly neutral. Tea tastes the same though... Unless we go back to Japan, it will remain a mystery.

Time for a mango lassie and a good read!
