Inch by inch, row by row,
gonna make this garden grow.
All it takes is a rake and a hoe
and a piece of fertile ground.
Inch by inch, row by row,
God bless the seeds I sow.
Please warm them from below,
'til the rain comes tumbling down.

Good morning, everyone! Early Saturday morn and off to the Garden Center. Here, that means an area about half a sq mile filled with a gazillion vendors selling every flower, plant, bush, tree, vine, water plants, air plants, orchids, bromilliads, water falls, ponds, and even lawn sod. I'm just buying one square of sod for Felicity to sleep on. Almost anti-climatic... Might pick up another Bird's Nest fern for the shelf....
There is a nice mug of new English Breakfast tea to start the morning, and a fresh baguette with a nice soft Brie to eat. I noticed something the other day about the water we're using here. It doesn't seem to cause the same tea stains in my mug (or teeth) that our water did in Japan. Interesting.... I wonder why? Same teas, but the mug doesn't get that brown crud on it that I used to have to scrape off. The Japanese water wasn't particularly hard. Hmmmm......
