I sincerely hope so, as sales costing is the most effective way to produce a change in business practice, however I doubt it, as I believe that people who strip DRM and shop in multiple stores are in the distinct minority as readers; at least, the only person I know "in real life" out of the many e-readers I know is familiar with Calibre. The reason being, unfortunately, that he's a pirate. Everybody else tends to buy one device and remain with that device's store, managing their books on their device.
