A really long time ago. The last newspapers I purchased were the really good Spanish newspaper El Pais, and I was getting the special edition that included some global or travel magazine - Aceflor, was that the Wednesday edition? Of course, I got it in Gemany, so it was probably a few days old.

That was back in college, and the main purpose was to build up vocabulary. I then decided that I was going to only read the online version, but with that, I noticed that I was no longer reading full articles and thus commenced the skimming of news.

I feel bad because I am contributing to the death of newspapers, but much like paper maps, I just never could stand the unruliness of their size.
