Anything text heavy (including forums, blogs, and my own evernote research), I want to read in e-ink.

Anything photo heavy (including blogs, evernote, and social stuff such as facebook), I want to view on a color tablet.

Anything power hungry, I use an actual computer.

I don't tolerate anything that is SLOW. While I adore technology and gadgets, if they are not snappy I won't use them. I thought I wanted a do-everything device, but I'd rather carry 3 separate dedicated fast devices than a single, slow, clunky thing.

Your e-ink android device intrigues me in many ways. I would want it to be small though, very portable, perhaps pocket sized. And light.

Earl looks great in many ways, but the battery life is only 20 hours. If I were an outdoorsy adventurer type, it would be at the top of my list! But the biggest adventure I enjoy is trying a new restaurant. I wonder if it were used as I'd like to (primarily as a reader, no radio or GPS) if the battery would last longer? Hm...
